What Your Photo Needs to Include

To enter the contest, please make sure your photo clearly shows:

  • The manufacture date or the serial number plate

  • Legible, easy-to-read text (no blurry or shadowed photos)

  • The full water heater unit in the frame

Photo Tips:

  • Use bright, direct lighting so the plate is easy to read.

  • Move in close enough for the date or serial number to be clear.

  • Wipe off the plate if it’s dusty, dirty, or hard to read.

  • Take multiple photos or angles to be sure everything is visible.

Need help finding the date? The manufacture date is located on a metal label or sticker on the side of the water heater—often near the top.
